A leading South African institution is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a forward-thinking team working on innovative solutions within a complex enterprise technology environment.
The role will involve developing and supporting secure, scalable Java applications that underpin critical business systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid commercial experience developing applications using Java (3-5 years' experience)
- Experience working within complex, regulated or highly governed technology environments
- Strong understanding of application security and secure development practices
- Practical exposure to identity and access management technologies, including OAuth2, JWT or SSO
- Experience working with reliable, high-performance applications handling significant transaction volumes
- Exposure to cloud technologies; AWS experience advantageous
- Familiarity with containerisation and modern deployment practices, including Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Understanding of technology governance, risk, compliance and data protection principles
- Exposure to modern front-end technologies such as Angular or React
- Experience contributing to enterprise-level applications and technology platforms
