- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
- Manage the full endpoint lifecycle, including device deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and offboarding.
- Support Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Administer and support Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments.
- Assist with endpoint management platforms and device policy administration.
- Diagnose and resolve VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity issues.
- Perform workstation builds, rebuilds, and hardware refresh projects.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security controls, patching, and access management processes.
- Provide technical guidance and escalation support to junior team members.
- Maintain accurate service desk tickets, technical documentation, and asset records.
- Liaise with third-party vendors regarding repairs, warranties, and technical escalations.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and best-practice usage across the business.
- Participate in after-hours support and standby duties when required.
- Provide IT support across multiple office locations within the Western Cape.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Relevant IT Diploma or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Certified Fundamentals / Associate Certifications.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+.
- Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator certifications.
- ITIL Foundation (advantageous).
- Azure Administrator Associate (advantageous).
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 35 years' experience in an IT support or systems administration environment.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience supporting network infrastructure, VPNs, wireless networks, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with endpoint deployment, device management, and asset lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and patch management.
