Detail: Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4. 5 years of experience in an IT environment of which a minimum of 3 years as a System Administrator. MCSA and CCNA certification. VMWARE and VEEAM certification as well. Extensive server, virtualisation, backups and network experience. Valid RSA Driver's License with own transport. Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and optimise our on-premises servers, storage, and network infrastructure so that everything stays available, fast and aligned with business requirements. Manage network components (Firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs) and cloud resources a strong focus on security and compliance. Run proactive patch management, updates, and troubleshooting to prevent issues before they impact the business. Own backup, disaster recovery, and restore processes -including regular testing, to protect critical data and meet business opportunity and regulatory requirements. Apply cybersecurity controls, assist with vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents in line with our established procedures and timelines.
