Monitor, maintain, and optimise on-premises servers, storage, and networks.
Manage firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and cloud resources securely.
Perform proactive patching, updates, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Manage backups, disaster recovery, restores, and regular testing.
Implement cybersecurity controls, support vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents.
Escalate and resolve complex infrastructure issues beyond Tier 1 Support.
Manage secure user access, account provisioning, and onboarding/offboarding.
Requirements
National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4. 5 years of experience in an IT environment of which a minimum of 3 years as a System Administrator. MCSA and CCNA certification. VMWARE and VEEAM certification as well. Extensive server, virtualisation, backups and network experience. Valid RSA Driver''s License with own transport.
