Key Responsibilities / Hoofverantwoordelikhede

• Lead and develop the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, creating a high-performing environment with clear priorities, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Manage IT operations and services by ensuring performance, availability, security, stability, and operational excellence.

• Plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets while maintaining effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), costs, and IT procurement activities.

• Oversee IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of technology resources.

• Ensure compliance with POPIA, ISO standards, organisational policies, and internal governance requirements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.

• Coordinate incident response, problem management, service restoration, and root cause analysis to improve service delivery.

• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders by delivering proactive, reliable, and customer-focused technology solutions.

• Manage IT assets, licensing, and procurement processes to support business continuity and operational requirements.

• Bestuur IT-bedrywighede en dienste deur prestasie, beskikbaarheid, sekuriteit, stabiliteit en operasionele uitnemendheid te verseker.

• Beplan, koördineer en lewer IT-projekte suksesvol binne ooreengekome tydlyne en begrotings, terwyl effektiewe belanghebbendekommunikasie deur die projeklewensiklus gehandhaaf word.

• Bestuur verskafferverhoudings, kontrakte, diensvlakooreenkomste (SLA’s), koste en IT-aankoopaktiwiteite.

• Hou toesig oor IT-begrotings en verseker kostedoeltreffende benutting van tegnologiehulpbronne.

• Verseker nakoming van POPIA, ISO-standaarde, organisatoriese beleide en interne bestuursvereistes.

• Ontwikkel, implementeer en handhaaf IT-beleide, standaarde en operasionele prosedures.

• Koördineer insidentreaksie, probleemhantering, diensherstel en worteloorsaakanalise om dienslewering te verbeter.

• Bou sterk vennootskappe met besigheidsbelanghebbendes deur proaktiewe, betroubare en kliëntgerigte tegnologie-oplossings te lewer.

• Bestuur IT-bates, lisensiëring en aankoopprosesse om besigheidskontinuïteit en operasionele vereistes te ondersteun.

Minimum Requirements / Minimum Vereistes

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an ICT management or senior technical leadership role.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing and developing technical teams.

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, IT support services, and operational environments.

• Experience in vendor, contract, and project management.

• Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance principles.

• Budget planning and financial management experience will be advantageous.

• Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or VMware will be advantageous.

• ’n Diploma of Baccalaureusgraad in Inligtingstegnologie, Rekenaarwetenskap, Inligtingstelsels of ’n verwante veld word vereis.

• Minimum van 3 jaar se ervaring in ’n IKT-bestuurs- of senior tegniese leierskaprol.

• Minimum 3–5 jaar se ervaring in die bestuur en ontwikkeling van tegniese spanne.

• Bewese ervaring in die bestuur van IT-infrastruktuur, IT-ondersteuningsdienste en operasionele omgewings.

• Ervaring in verskaffer-, kontrak- en projekbestuur.

• Goeie kennis van IT-bestuur, risiko- en nakomingsbeginsels.

• Ervaring in begrotingsbeplanning en finansiële bestuur sal tot voordeel wees.

• Professionele sertifisering soos ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, Microsoft Azure, AWS of VMware sal tot voordeel wees.
