IT Manager

Job Description

• A well-established organisation in New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing IT strategies, managing IT operations and infrastructure, leading the IT team, and ensuring cybersecurity, system stability, and digital transformation.The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in an IT leadership role, with a strong background in database design, software development, cloud platforms, virtualisation, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies incorporating OT, AI, cloud, and data.

• Manage IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and team performance.

• Oversee ERP systems, upgrades, integrations, and vendor support.

• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.

• Ensure cybersecurity, data security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

• Drive digital transformation, process automation, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee IT projects, audits, policies, and risk management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

• Monitor system performance and ensure reliable IT operations.

• Prepare reports for the Executive Committee and IT Steering Committee.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of five years' experience in an IT leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of database design, software development, business and systems analysis.

• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualisation, and ERP systems.

• Understanding of OT, networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and budgeting skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
