We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or student looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in an IT support environment.
The successful candidate will assist with providing first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the company's IT infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and network-related issues.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, monitors and peripherals.
- Install and update software applications.
- Assist with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office support.
- Respond to on-site IT support requests.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT equipment and asset records.
- Assist with user account setup and password resets.
- Escalate complex technical issues where necessary.
- Ensure all support requests are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with general IT administration and projects as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, printers, switches, etc.).
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
- Own transport will be advantageous.
