Job Description

  • The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement not an employment contract with the company and receive a stipend.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with operating systems.
  • Familiarity in programming languages e.g., Python, C#.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Communication Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Problem-Solving

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Teamwork

  • Willingness to collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Adaptability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Time Management

  • Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Relevant IT qualification

Take note to qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
  • Unemployed in the last 2 months
