Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements, and working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective IT solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Analyse existing systems and business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop process flows, business requirements documents and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with developers, IT teams and external service providers.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of system solutions.
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document and assist with resolving system issues.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing support to business users and assist with change management.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure requirements are delivered within agreed timelines.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Relevant IT / Business Analysis qualification .
  • 3+ years' experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience working with business processes and IT systems.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Experience with UAT, process mapping and system testing .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear business requirements.
  • Experience working with retail, e-commerce or FMCG systems would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools or ERP/POS systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
