Role Overview The Inventory Controller will oversee and maintain accurate stock levels across GAME 4U’s retail stores, e‑commerce platform, and warehouse operations. This role ensures seamless product availability, minimizes discrepancies, and supports efficient fulfillment processes. The Inventory Controller will play a critical role in safeguarding stock integrity, optimizing inventory flow, and enabling smooth customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

Monitor, record, and reconcile inventory levels across physical stores, warehouse, and online systems.

Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and variance investigations.

Manage inbound and outbound stock movements, including supplier deliveries, inter‑branch transfers (IBTs), and customer returns.

Ensure accurate capturing of stock data in ERP/POS systems. (OMNI accounts)

Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and store teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Prepare inventory reports and provide insights to management for decision‑making.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.

Support promotional campaigns and product launches by ensuring correct stock allocation.

Liaise with couriers and logistics partners to track shipments and resolve delivery issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in ERP/POS systems (e.g., WooCommerce, OMNI Accounts, or similar).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Knowledge of e‑commerce fulfillment processes is advantageous.
