REQUIREMENTS

  • An undergraduate qualification in Law / Paralegal Studies at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA No experience required Never participated in any Internship Programme both Public / Private sector.
  • Knowledge: Public Finance Management Act PFMA. Treasury Regulations. Public Service Regulations PSR. Public Service Act PSA. Unemployment Insurance Act UIA. Promotion of Administration Justice Act PAJA. Law of evidence. Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act UICA. The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa. Constitutional Law. Labour Relations Act LRA. Criminal Procedure Act. Litigation Procedures.
  • Skills: Communications. Computer Literacy. Time Management. Negotiation. Presentation. Problem Solving. Planning and Organising. Report Writing.

DUTIES

  • Provide Legal advice and support to the Fund under supervision of the Senior Legal Admin Officer. Provide support in handling of litigation for and on behalf of the Fund. Provide assistance in drafting of legal documents legislation, policies, regulations, contracts, memorandum of understanding, service level agreements and other legal bidding documents etc for the Fund. Provide support in processing of sections for Benefit Applications under supervision of the Senior Legal Officer. Provide general legal administrative support.
