- To ensure that an accurate and aesthetically pleasing running order schedule is created for broadcast
Key Accountabilities
- The creation of a presentation template with programme layouts, channel branding and promotional spots according to Sport requirements
- Produce an accurate, transmission-ready detailed 24-hour running-order schedule for playout by required daily deadline for channels.
- Ensuring that all changes are implemented timeously
- Importing commercial breaks, scheduling of promos and fillers at suitable times to the target audience of the channel
- Reconcile transmission schedules after broadcast
- Provide excellent client service to all relevant Stakeholders
- Generate reports and communicate to all relevant Stakeholders
- Provide necessary support to Line Management
- Adherence and compliance with the unit SOP's
- Report on the operational risk and regulatory compliance matters
- Report on risks to protect organisational integrity, create value and prevent financial loss
- Adherent to Sport t policies and procedures
- Report on potential risk in Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Assisting on delivery of special projects
- Generate final presentation reports to relevant Internal and External Stakeholders
- Compile Ad Hoc reports
- Handover daily presentation schedules and recons for sign off
- Liaise with relevant Stakeholders
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Media related qualification
- Computer literacy
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Meticulous Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal- and Communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize
