Internship Opportunity – Industrial Psychologist Intern (Onsite, Wolseley)

Our client, a respected international manufacturing leader.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Industrial Psychologist Intern to join their HR team onsite in Wolseley. This internship offers hands-on exposure to blue-collar environments , where you will work closely with employees on the shop floor, supporting their development, wellbeing, and performance. The role provides a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, with the potential to transition into permanent employment upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily HR and psychology-related support for blue-collar workers.
Conduct and support psychological assessments, interventions, and employee development initiatives .
Collaborate with HR and line managers to address workforce challenges and promote employee wellbeing.
Provide input into talent management, training, and performance improvement projects .
Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards in all practices.
Requirements
Education: Strong Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology and currently completing a Master’s degree (ideally in the second year, with subjects completed and graduation expected this year).
Registration: Eligible for or working towards registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) .

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and resilience.
Practical problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills in both business and everyday language.
Commitment: Must be willing to work onsite in Wolseley and relocate if required.
