We're a fast growing national retailer looking for a sharp, driven young individual for an hands-on management internship — whether you have solid work experience, are currently studying towards a BCom, or have recently graduated. Get hands-on mentorship in problem-solving, contracts, and internal controls, with a real growth path into a management role.
Job Type: Permanent
Positions Available: 1
Salary: Market related (discussed in person, based on skills and experience)
Duties & Responsibilities
This role combines practical responsibilities with formal mentorship. You'll receive direct training and mentorship in:
- Problem-solving: Investigating operational issues and formulating effective solutions
- Contracts: Supporting lease agreements and negotiations
- Internal controls: Developing, implementing, and auditing control systems for error-free operations
- Support: Handling strategic projects under the direct guidance and mentorship of your manager
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Good aptitude for data and formulas in Excel (further training provided)
- Exceptional eye for detail and ability to spot errors in information immediately
- High energy, self-starter mindset
- Relevant work experience, or currently studying towards / recently completed a BCom, advantageous
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) — non-negotiable
- Own, reliable transport to Epping 2, Cape Town
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
