- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell a range of paints, coatings and related products.
- Provide customers with product information and suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and close sales.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits and maintain regular contact with clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
- Process orders and ensure accurate follow-up from order to delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Provide regular sales reports and feedback to management.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Previous sales experience, preferably within paints, coatings, building materials, hardware or a related industry .
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Strong new business development and customer relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Able to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Professional, energetic and target-driven approach.
