Internal Sales/Sales Administrator for wholesaler

Introduction

We are a Cape Town based wholesaler, situated in Epping 1 and we are looking for a dedicated, well presented, and friendly person to join our growing team as an internal sales administrator. We operate Monday to Friday and our hours are 07h30 to 16h30.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Sales administors provide support to the external sales team and their clients. Duties focus on customer satisfaction and coordinating sales activities:

• Providing excellent service to all customers

• Answering the phone

• Receiving & invoicing orders

• Coordinating delivery of orders

• Finding solutions for customers

• Keeping track of availability of stock/back orders and pending orders

• Resolving issues pertaining to stock and orders

In addition, the responsibilities of internal sales is to service a portfolio of customers who visit in person. This roles requires relationship building and a drive to provide these customers with excellent, effective service so they keep returning. Commission is earned on the turnover from these customers.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements for this posistion

• Matric

• 5 years+ in internal sales experience

• Computer -Word, Excel, Outlook

• English and Afrikaans, spoken and written

• Understanding of basic mathematics

This position requires someone who is highly organised, good at working within time contraints and who is good at problem solving.

Skills and abilities

• The ability to multitask, maintain good customer relations, and keep detailed records of interactions with clients.

• Able to promote products and offer sales assistance in the showroom.

• Highly organised, flexible, and an excellent memory.

• Be professionally presented, well-spoken and perform well under pressure.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• Proficiency in basic maths and experience in internal sales is a requirement.

Package & Remuneration

Monthly remuneration

• a basic salary

• commission on an exisiting customer portfolio

On an average month assuming modest target is met, remuneration is between R25 000- R27 000 gross, with the potential to earn more if target is exceeded

In addition to salary and commission, the business offers

• an annual incentive based on meeting annual target
