Internal Sales - Retail

Introduction

Our client is looking for a motivated and organised Internal Sales Consultant with good retail experence in electrical hardware.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Good background in electrical components 1-2 yrs in retial

• Provide expert product advice, and maintaining precise control over stock levels.

• The ideal candidate blends technical electrical knowledge with a genuine passion for people

• Proven experience working with electrical hardware components

• Prior experience in retail sales or internal sales within the hardware or construction industry.

• Demonstrated experience in stock management, inventory control, or formal stock-taking procedures.

• Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

• Ability to handle difficult customers calmly.

• High level of numeracy and attention to detail for processing orders and counting stock..

• Provide technical advice and product recommendations for electrical hardware and installations.

• Process walk-in, phone, and email orders accurately using our ERP K8 system.

• Manage end-to-end stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies by investigating receiving and sales records.

• Build rapport with regular trade customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.

• Maintain an organised, well-merchandised showroom and counter area.

• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 1-2 years in retail sales

• ERP - K8 advantage

• Electrical knowledge

• Previous retail experence

Package & Remuneration

R 10 000 - R 15 000 per month
