We're looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Internal Sales Person to join our growing team. If you know the hardware and paint industry inside out, love building relationships, and can think on your feet, we want to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
✅ Proven experience in the hardware and paint industry (non-negotiable)
✅ Extensive product knowledge across hardware, paint, tools, building materials, accessories and related product ranges
✅ Previous experience working on Kerridge or a similar ERP/trading system
✅ Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new products, suppliers and customer requirements
✅ Strong sales and customer service skills
✅ Energetic, proactive and driven to exceed targets
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and growing customer relationships
- Processing quotations, orders and enquiries efficiently
- Providing expert product advice and solutions
- Identifying sales opportunities and upselling products
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and the external sales team
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
