This individual must have experience in a technical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing or distribution environment. Detail: Our client in the Engineering Manufacturing industry is seeking a customer-focused, organised Internal Sales Representative to join their team. This individual will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and identifying new sales opportunities, while providing valuable support to the external sales team. Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate Relevant qualification in Business, Project Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years' experience in internal sales, telesales, customer service or a similar role. Experience in a technical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong communication skills Computer literacy. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, industrial or related products would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions. Prepare accurate quotations and follow up proactively to convert quotations into orders. Process customer orders accurately and ensure relevant information is communicated to the appropriate departments. Follow up on outstanding orders, deliveries and customer queries. Generate new sales opportunities from existing and prospective customers. Contact customers regularly to identify additional sales opportunities. Support external sales representatives with quotations, customer information and administration. Maintain accurate customer and sales information on the company's systems. Resolve customer complaints and queries professionally and escalate issues where necessary. Keep up to date with company products, services, pricing and market developments.
