- An established supplier of warehouse and material handling equipment is looking for a motivated and experienced Internal Sales Representative to join its team.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual with industry experience who is looking to grow their career, with the potential to develop into a Second-in-Command (2IC) role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct client visits, product demonstrations and presentations when required.
- Drive sales growth and consistently work towards achieving sales targets.
- Prepare accurate quotations, sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Provide excellent customer service and professional product advice.
- Follow up on leads and quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of internal sales experience.
- Experience in industrial equipment, warehouse equipment or material handling is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent customer relationship management and business development abilities.
- Computer literate, particularly in MS Office.
- Experience with Sage/Pastel is advantageous.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude, professional approach and strong self-motivation.
- Potential and willingness to grow into a 2IC position.
