Job Title: Internal Sales Start Date: 2026-04-30 - 2026-08-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent CAW000780 Sectors: Sales Location: Western Cape , George Salary: (Market related) Brief: Job Purpose Our client based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a driven and self-motivated Internal Sales / Counter Salesperson to join their team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge and understanding of outdoor power products. Key Responsibilities Assist walk-in and telephonic customers with product inquiries and purchases Provide knowledgeable advice on a range of outdoor power products Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on leads Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Handle invoicing, payments, and basic administrative tasks Coordinate with the workshop/service team regarding repairs and product availability Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and well-stocked Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and pricing Assist with stock takes and inventory control Detail: Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Previous experience in sales or customer service (preferably in retail or equipment sales) Basic computer literacy (POS systems, email, Excel) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills & Experience Knowledge of outdoor power products such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, etc. Technical aptitude or willingness to learn about machinery Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell and cross-sell Good problem-solving skills Key Competencies Customer-focused and service-oriented Attention to detail Team player Reliable and punctual Strong organizational skills Working Hours Retail hours, including Saturdays (as required) show more...
