Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern Developer to join their team and receive hands-on training on an innovative AI-powered platform. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or aspiring software developer looking to gain practical experience in software development, artificial intelligence technologies and solution delivery within a dynamic technology environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, testing and continuous improvement of the AI platform.
- Assist with coding, debugging and troubleshooting software applications.
- Learn and apply software development best practices under the guidance of experienced developers.
- Support the implementation of new features and system enhancements.
- Assist with system integrations, technical documentation and technical support activities.
- Collaborate with the development team on projects and ongoing platform improvements.
- Participate in training and mentorship programmes to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Completed or currently completing a qualification in:
- Computer Science
- Software Development
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
- Or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development principles.
- Exposure to one or more programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript or Java.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for technology, software development and artificial intelligence.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning or automation tools will be advantageous.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS will be advantageous.
- Personal software development projects or a GitHub portfolio will be advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong curiosity about emerging technologies and AI solutions.
Package & Remuneration
- R10k pm CTC
- Contract duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
- Office hours: 09:00-17:00
