Tendering & Subcontractor Management
• Prepare and manage labour-only, domestic and selected subcontractor tenders . • Prepare tender documentation, enquiries and pricing schedules. • Analyse and adjudicate subcontractor and supplier quotations. • Conduct commercial comparisons and make recommendations for appointments. • Negotiate commercial terms with subcontractors and suppliers. • Prepare and manage subcontractor appointments. • Monitor subcontractor performance from a commercial and contractual perspective. • Evaluate subcontractor claims and progress. • Prepare and process subcontractor payment certificates. • Manage variations and commercial adjustments throughout the project. • Assist with the preparation and agreement of final accounts. Full Quantity Surveying Function
• Perform the complete Quantity Surveying function from project start to completion . • Interpret drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual documentation. • Carry out measurements and quantity take-offs. • Monitor project costs against budgets and allowances. • Identify potential cost overruns and commercial risks at an early stage. • Manage variations, additional works and changes to scope. • Maintain accurate commercial and contractual records. • Conduct valuations of work completed. • Prepare cost forecasts and cost-to-complete reports. • Manage project cash flow from a commercial perspective. • Assist with contractual and commercial correspondence. • Compile and manage project final accounts. Interim Payment Applications
• Measure and value completed works. • Compile and submit interim payment applications . • Ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate. • Follow up on valuations, certifications and outstanding payments. • Reconcile certified amounts against submitted claims. • Maintain accurate records of applications, certificates and payments. Procurement
• Manage the commercial aspects of project procurement. • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. • Prepare procurement comparisons and recommendations. • Ensure procurement is aligned with project budgets and programmes. • Monitor committed expenditure against approved budgets. • Liaise closely with site management, project management, suppliers and subcontractors.
