Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and business solutions
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment activities
- Develop new features and enhancements across multiple applications and systems
- Analyse business and technical requirements to deliver effective software solutions
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve application issues and performance challenges
- Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications
- Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of applications
- Collaborate with clients, users, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Participate in quality assurance and testing activities
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and technology enhancements
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
- Proven experience developing software applications using C# and .NET technologies
- Experience building web, desktop, mobile, or cloud-based applications
- Experience working with relational databases and data-driven systems
- Exposure to software development within collaborative project environments
- Experience with application integrations and API development advantageous
- Strong C# and .NET development capabilities
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Experience with Entity Framework and modern development practices
- Understanding of source control tools such as Git
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern application architectures advantageous
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong planning, organisational, and time-management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
