The ideal candidate will bring solid full-stack development experience, strong problem-solving abilities and an interest in leveraging modern AI coding tools to enhance the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software applications across backend and full-stack environments.
- Develop robust, scalable and maintainable solutions using modern programming practices.
- Work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor as part of the development workflow.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues.
- Participate in version-controlled development using Git.
- Work with relational databases and support data-driven application functionality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and solutions.
Requirements
- 4–7 years' solid software development experience.
- Strong development experience in at least one of the following:
- Java
- NodeJS
- TypeScript
- Python
- Experience with backend and/or full-stack development.
- Practical experience directing AI coding agents within a development workflow.
- Relevant university degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Self-motivated, diligent and proactive approach to development.
Advantageous
- AWS experience.
- Strong RESTful API development knowledge.
- Git/version control experience.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Java certification.
- AWS certification.
