This opportunity is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, developing business-critical applications, and working directly with clients to deliver practical software solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and support of web-based supply chain and staff management systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new functionality for existing and new clients.
- Maintain, enhance, and support existing software applications.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide data-related technical support.
- Engage with clients and end users to understand business requirements and resolve system-related problems.
- Develop and maintain web-based and Windows applications.
- Prepare clear and accurate technical specifications and documentation.
- Research emerging technologies and continuously improve development skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve system functionality, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Engineering, BSc in Information Technology, BCom Informatics, or an IT diploma.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Afrikaans proficiency will be advantageous.
