Intermediate-Senior Software Developer

Our client is seeking a motivated and solutions-driven Software Developer to join their technology-focused team in Edenvale. This opportunity is suited to an experienced developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with users and clients, and expanding their development expertise across a range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement new functionality for existing and new clients.
• Maintain, support and enhance existing software systems.
• Troubleshoot software and data-related issues.
• Engage with clients and end users to understand requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear and accurate technical specifications and documentation.
• Research and adopt new technologies and development practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering, BSc in Information Technology, BCom Informatics or Diploma in Information Technology.
• Minimum 3 years' software development experience.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Afrikaans proficiency will be advantageous.

Technical Experience Experience with several of the following will be required:

• ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
• C# and VB.NET
• SQL
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap
• Angula

• jQuery and AJAX
• Web development
• Windows application development and Windows Services
• Mobile application development
• Web Services / RESTful APIs
• Ionic
• Postman / Swagger
• Crystal Reports and/or SSRS or other reporting tools
