Qualifications and Experience required
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- A completed relevant 3 or 4-year technical diploma or degree (Honours or postgraduate degree preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (SE/EE) and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proficient with source control systems such as Git
