Are you a skilled Java Developer who loves solving complex integration challenges? We are looking for an Intermediate Java Developer to join our Professional Services team. If you have 5+ years of experience with Java frameworks, a strong database background, and hands-on DevOps skills (Docker/Kubernetes), this is your chance to take real ownership of end-to-end SDLC projects. Duties & Responsibilities
Core Development: Write, build, and maintain clean, dependable code using Java frameworks or Oracle PL/SQL and Apex.
Database & Data Modeling: Translate business requirements into structures using MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres, and write highly optimized SQL queries.
End-to-End Testing: Produce integration test specs, conduct functional/FAT testing, record bugs, and run UAT sessions with clients (using tools like Postman). Produce system integration reports.
DevOps & Deployments: Handle software release installations, configurations, and collaborative coding using Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
System Administration: Maintain servers, write scripts, and manage tasks using Bash and Linux environments.
Support & Documentation: Troubleshoot application issues, provide post-implementation bug fixes, provide technical support assistance, and thoroughly document all software solutions.
Growth & Collaboration: Actively upskill on industry trends, attend workshops/conferences, and participate in cross-service projects and quality reviews.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) + a Diploma/Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Management, or Customer Service Management.
Language: Standard literacy (Fluent English: read, write, speak).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of applicable experience.
Core Tech Stack: In-depth Java knowledge (J2EE, Spring, Apache CAMEL), CSS, and HTML.
Databases & Servers: In-depth SQL/industry databases, plus working knowledge of J2EE containers and web servers.
Tools & Infrastructure: Strong Linux/Bash, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and thorough RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ experience.
Methodologies: Thorough understanding of the SDLC and experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
