- An opportunity is available for an experienced Interior Designer & Showroom Manager with a background in luxury furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail.
- This combined design and management role focuses on providing personalized design consultations, building strong client relationships and driving sales, while overseeing daily showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Provide tailored interior design advice to clients, architects and interior designers.
- Build lasting customer relationships and close high-value sales.
- Manage daily showroom operations, including stock control, point-of-sale systems and inventory audits.
- Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards and coordinate seasonal showroom updates.
- Recruit, train and motivate sales consultants to deliver exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail store management experience.
- Experience in luxury furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail is essential.
- A formal qualification or strong proven background in Interior Design, Architecture or Visual Merchandising.
- Proven ability to close high-value sales and manage customer relationships.
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel and POS systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must reside in Paarl.
