A well-established Interior Design company specialising in retail and restaurant environments is seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join their Johannesburg-based team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present creative interior design concepts for retail and restaurant projects.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, construction documentation, and drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD .
- Manage projects through all design stages, from concept design to completion.
- Prepare space planning layouts, design presentations, mood boards, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Conduct site visits and assist with project implementation and quality control.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with design standards.
- Resolve technical design challenges and provide practical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional Interior Design experience.
- Previous experience working on retail interior projects is highly preferred.
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or commercial projects will be advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong technical detailing and documentation skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently when required.
- Excellent space planning, design development, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally for project requirements when necessary
