Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the systems that power modern applications

• Build scalable APIs and backend services that support seamless user experiences

• Optimise application performance, reliability, and security

• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions

• Design efficient database structures and data flows

• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous system improvements

• Contribute to architectural decisions and best engineering practices

• Ensure backend systems are built to scale as products and users grow

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum 3+ years’ of Integration Engineering or Software Development experience

• Hands-on experience with APIs, web services, and system integrations

• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and messaging technologies

• Experience working with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Kafka, or similar technologies

• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or other development languages

• Experience integrating cloud-based and on-premise applications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
