- We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Practice Lead – IROC to lead the growth of Hatch's Integrated Remote Operations Centre IROC offering within a region, while contributing to the evolution of our global practice.
- This is a market-facing leadership role, accountable for originating and winning work, shaping regional strategy, and ensuring high-impact delivery. The successful candidate will be recognized as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and a leader in digitally enabled operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and positioning of Hatch's IROC practice within the region
- Define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy, including target clients, offerings, and messaging
- Originate, pursue, and convert opportunities, with a strong focus on building a sustainable pipeline
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to articulate value and shape opportunities
- Lead and support proposal development, including win strategy, commercial positioning, and delivery approach
- Play a senior role in client engagement models, including executive-level interactions
- Provide subject matter leadership across project delivery, including coaching, review, and key client engagement ~25%
- Build and grow a regional IROC capability by developing talent and mobilizing broader Hatch expertise
- Drive thought leadership through industry engagement, conferences, and publications
- Collaborate with the global IROC team to evolve and scale repeatable offerings
- Contribute to cross-region business development and project delivery as needed
What you bring to the role
- We are looking for a highly credible and entrepreneurial leader with a strong track record in operational transformation and integrated operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain expertise with strong commercial acumen and client engagement capability.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior operational and executive stakeholders
- Strong background in mining or similar asset-intensive industries, with experience delivering operational improvement
- Direct experience in the design and/or implementation of IROCs or integrated operations models
- Commercially minded, with experience originating and winning consulting or advisory work
- Recognized for thought leadership and ability to articulate value beyond technology
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated to build and grow a practice
- Comfortable operating from strategy through to execution
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in consulting, operations, or transformation roles
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale, digitally enabled transformation programs
- Strong understanding of integrated operations across people, process, and technology
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence without authority
- Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualifications e.g. MBA advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required
