Insurance Administrator - Underwriter

Introduction

Insurance Administrator/Underwriter with NQF4 Short Term Insurance and RE5 certificates, as well as minimum 3 years’  short term insurance experience, preferably with Commercial and Agri exposure, required for a Short Term Insurance Brokerage based in in Bela-Bela.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Aftersales service offering to clients and relationship management

• Preparing quotations for new and existing business

• Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements

• Recording details of transactions

• Broker queries

• Maintaining SLA’s

• Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

• Renewals

• Retention

• Policy administration

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12

• NQF Level 4 – Full qualification (short term insurance)

• RE5 successfully completed

• Minimum 3-5 years’ short-term insurance experience essential

• Experience in Commercial and Agri policies advantageous

• Computer literate – MS Office, Financial Systems
