- The Poultry Injection Monitor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and safety of the poultry injection process within a food processing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the injection of brine, seasonings, or other additives into poultry products to enhance flavour, texture, and shelf life. The Poultry Injection Monitor ensures all injection processes comply with company quality standards, food safety regulations, and health guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Accuracy of work is essential
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Must be willing and able to work overtime
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Control Program.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene throughout the processing plant.
- Continuous monitoring of injection %, brine temperature and salt concentration.
- Carry out duties as described in duty sheets
- Carry out instructions given by Management regarding quality and hygiene.
- Responsible for injection monitoring.
- Responsible to conduct physical temperature checks on brine.
- Following up of corrective actions if any of the above is out of specification.
