Infrastructure Engineer (Expert) 3413

Essential Skills • Proven experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). • Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred). • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments. • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions. • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and network security. • Experience implementing security controls such as IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and cloud security best practices. • Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, tracing, and alerting tools. • Experience troubleshooting complex production environments and leading root cause investigations. • Strong scripting and automation skills.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Provide and operate secure deployment environments and platform capabilities for development and
• production teams.
• Build and maintain cloud networking, DNS, VPN and load-balancing configurations to meet availability and
• security requirements.
• Implement and manage storage and compute provisioning with attention to cost, performance and scalability.
• Design and operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and the CI/CD flows that deploy into them.
• Implement and enforce security controls including IAM, RBAC, secrets management and relevant security
• frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Actions).
• Instrument platform services with metrics, traces and logs; define and maintain SLOs, dashboards and alerting
• to meet operational objectives.
