Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server environments.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal uptime.
Network Administration
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Ensure secure and reliable remote access for users.
Cloud & Hybrid Environments
- Support and administer cloud-based infrastructure.
- Manage hybrid cloud environments and integrations.
- Monitor cloud performance, resource utilization, and cost optimization initiatives.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls.
- Manage user access, permissions, and identity management solutions.
- Perform system patching, updates, antivirus management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry best practices.
Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
- Manage backup solutions and data recovery processes.
- Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure infrastructure readiness to support business continuity objectives.
Monitoring & Support
- Monitor system health, infrastructure alerts, and logs.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation.
- Create and update standard operating procedures.
- Produce performance, availability, and capacity reports.
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT Infrastructure Administration.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of IT security principles, policies, and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Advantageous
- Industry certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified (MCSA, MCSE or equivalent)
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Cisco CCNA
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or
