Job Title: Industrial Sewing Machine Technician Start Date: 2026-07-20 - 2026-08-20 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA026133 Sectors: Other Location: SA - Gauteng , Alberton Salary: Brief: Industrial Sewing Machine Technician Alberton R15 000 CTC per month Detail: Minimum requirements: Have a valid drivers license Must be fluent in English (Afrikaans would be advantageous) Must be physically strong - industrial sewing machines are heavy and require strength to work on Must be well spoken, neatly dressed and neatly groomed Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the mechanical workings all types of industrial sewing machines - including but not limited to: 1) Single Needle Lockstitch Machines - from basic models to fully electronic models 2) Overlockers - 3;4;5;and 6 thread models 3) Buttonhole Machines - manual machines as well as electronic machines 4) Button Sew On Machines - manual machines as well as electronic models 5) Double Needle Machines (solid needle bar and split needle bar models) 6) Bartack Machines - manual machines as well as electronic models 7) Walking Foot Machines (Flat bed and cylinder arm models) 8) Double Needle Walking Foot Machines 9) Portable Bag Closing Machines 10) Fabric Cutting Machines 11) Industrial Irons And Pressing Equipment 12) Embroidery Machines (would be advantageous) 13) Automatic Template Sewing Machines (would be advantageous) Must be able to fully repair and service the above mentioned of machines to a very high standard Must have a proven track record of experience Must be able to work Monday to Friday and Saturdays when required Must have a professional and friendly manner and work well with customers Must be punctual Must be able to work under pressure without making mistakes Must have the ability to pay attention to the smallest detail Must have a strong administrative ability ie: Keeping track of time sheets; spare parts used; time spent on labour etc Consultant: Joline Jonker - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful show more...
