- Inspection of part / product / train / installation
- Support Improvement of Zero Defect Program
- Reporting of defects & ensure product compliance check after rework, especially for Special Processes
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Accountabilities & Authorities
- Perform inspections and ensure product compliance check after rework according to Quality Control Plan
- Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required
- Support EPU manager for Station to Station Hand Over
- Perform Workstation Quality Animation with EPU Elementary Production Unit manager including simple problem solving 5W
- Perform destructive & non-destructive examination
- Ensure the use of correctly calibrated tools and equipment in all inspections within manufacturing operations.
- Conduct work station and other related audits
- On time reporting of problems from any source related to product quality.
- Participating in Problem solving activities – QRQC, Quality Animation.
- Monitoring of corrective and preventative actions and close out of NCRs from internal /external Customer.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
- Reports to the Industrial Quality Manager the status of inspection results, including KPIs
- Support Zero Defect Program Objective
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Industrial Quality Engineer/Manager
- Car History Book compilation
- Shift work will be required
- Performance measurements:
- Inspection method time adherence
- Self-Inspection effectiveness
- Proper defect characterization e.g. Defect catalogue, 5W2H, Acceptance criteria's, …
- Management of rework Validation included
- DPU and External demerit performance
RESTRICTED
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
- Minimum of a technical qualification at Trade or Diploma level
- Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment
- Must be Micro-soft proficient
- Railway experience is advantageous
- Associates degree, technical major preferred
- Special Process Qualification minimum at Level 2 according to Quality Academy criteria's – preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in industrial quality
- Quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry including using of digital tools
- License and own transport will be preferred
- Auditing experience – preferrable
