Industrial Engineer

To support and enhance IT project execution through data-driven analysis, process optimisation, and efficient resource utilisation. This role applies industrial engineering principles within the centralised IT Project Office to improve delivery performance, governance, and operational effectiveness across the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Senwes is looking for an Industrial Engineer to support and enhance IT project execution through data-driven analysis, process optimisation, and efficient resource utilisation. This position forms part of the centralised IT Project Office and applies industrial engineering principles to improve project delivery performance, governance, and operational effectiveness across the organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support IT project planning, coordination, and execution.

• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Analyse project performance data and provide actionable insights.

• Support resource planning and capacity management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT.

• Promote project governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, project coordination, process optimisation or systems analysis. Experience within enterprise IT environments or Project Management Offices (PMOs) will be advantageous. Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid approaches. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyse large datasets and present meaningful business insights. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strong planning, organisational and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Scenario Modelling and Forecasting. Visio or Process Mapping Tools.
