This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who is passionate about operational excellence, process improvement, and leading plant operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving efficiency, managing production processes, and leading teams to achieve operational targets. Detail: Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant. Analyse and improve production processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Monitor production performance and recommend process enhancements. Lead, motivate, and manage production teams to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements. Prepare operational reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Work closely with management and cross-functional departments to drive business objectives. Promote a positive working environment through effective leadership and communication. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. 5–15 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven experience managing plant operations. Strong background in process optimisation and continuous improvement. Good understanding of manufacturing principles and production planning. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer packages. Valid driver's licence (advantageous). Key Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure. Results-driven with excellent organisational skills. Able to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business. Self-motivated with a proactive and hands-on approach.
