At least 5 years experience in high-volume manufacturing with attributes such as equipment set-up, operation knowledge, changeover processes and use of measuring equipment. Knowledge of machine faults and proposed preventative maintenance procedures is an advantage. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of machines. Computer literate. Excellent communication skills Valid drivers license Duties Supervise daily factory operations and production activities. Ensure production targets, efficiencies and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor machine utilization, labour productivity and production flows. Ensure effective handovers and communication between departments. Enforce compliance with SOP's, Works Instructions, QMS, Process Control Plans, Production Standards and Safety Procedures. Identify process deviations, investigate and correct.
