Independent Subcontractor Driver (With Own Vehicle) - Cape Town, Western Cape

Introduction

The Company requiring the service: Indgro Outsourcing (Pty) Ltd, Trading as Indgro Multi Services Group™ (the Company)

The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable and fully comfortable navigating a variety of urban routes, including local townships, and surrounding residential areas. Some of these areas include Dunoon, Joe Slovo, Langa, Nyanga, Khayelitsha, and Delft. Applicants must reside in and around these areas, with their own vehicle.

VEHICLE TYPE:  6 (Six) seater sedan or Toyota Avanza 7 (Seven) seater or similar vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities

• RELIABILITY: Ensure Assignees are collected and dropped off at agreed locations and times - Must be able to work  Shift Hours:   Night shift , approximately  7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Availability:   7 (Seven) days a week , including weekends.

• Be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays when operationally required.

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures

• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance where required.

• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with individuals to be to be transported, Clients, and members of the public.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and in good working condition at all times.

• Adhere to all Indgro Company Policies, Procedures, and Client site requirements.

• Immediately report delays, route changes, emergencies, or any circumstances that may impact transportation schedules.

• Ensure passengers comply with vehicle safety requirements, including the use of seatbelts.

• Proven driving experience with good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and accountability.

Requirements

• Licensing:  Valid South African  Driver’s License  with a valid  Professional Driving Permit (PrDP / PDP)  and a  clean driving record.

• Must belong to the relevant Taxi Association.

• Own reliable vehicle as per the above.

Package & Remuneration

Costs to be discussed based on the vehicle and experience.
