The Incentives & Recognition Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and
day-to-day management of all sales incentive programmes, recognition initiatives, internal
engagement activities, and associated communications. The role plays a central part in
driving motivation, celebrating performance, and maintaining a vibrant, high-energy culture
primarily on the sales floor and on an ad hoc/as required basis for support staff.
A high degree of numerical confidence is essential: the role requires the ability to work accurately with data, manage budgets, run and interpret performance reports, validate payout figures, and track spend — all to a high standard of accuracy. The role also supports broader business
functions including events, internal communications, social media, stock and supplier
management, and leads the Incentives & Marketing Administrator.
Duties & Responsibilities
INCENTIVE DESIGN & MANAGEMENT
- Receive, interpret and execute incentive programmes as directed by relevant
stakeholders, ensuring each programme is brought to life in a way that is exciting,
engaging, and motivating for the sales floor (Sales Consultants, Sales Leaders, and
Senior Sales Leaders).
- Maintain a forward-looking pipeline of themes, creative concepts, and execution plans,
ensuring preparation is always ahead of the curve with at least two to three
programmes in planning at any given time.
- Where required, contribute to the conceptualisation and development of incentive
programmes, bringing creative input to support the business in shaping new initiatives.
INCENTIVE ADMINISTRATION, FINANCIAL CONTROLS & CASH HANDLING
- Administer the end-to-end incentive payout process: running performance reports,
identifying and validating winners, and coordinating payment in line with the defined
SLA and shared accountability framework between Marketing, Finance and Payroll.
- Handle cash disbursements to incentive winners in accordance with the agreed cash
management process, including the accurate maintenance of signing sheets,
reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all financial processes related to incentives adhere to internal controls, tax
reporting requirements, and the Marketing and Finance SOP.
REPORTING & ANALYTICS
- Produce monthly incentive performance reports within agreed deadlines, including
analysis of sales trends, programme effectiveness, and spend tracking. Accuracy and
attention to numerical detail in all reports is non-negotiable.
- Provide actionable insights based on incentive data to support decision-making by
relevant stakeholders.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT
- Develop and execute internal communication campaigns that drive awareness,
excitement, and participation in incentive programmes across appropriate channels.
- Create engaging, on-brand content including posters, digital communications, videos
and announcements.
- Promote and celebrate winners and top performers through visible, creative recognition
across internal platforms.
EVENTS & RECOGNITION FUNCTIONS
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal recognition events and ad hoc functions, which
may be held on-site or off-site. These include (but are not limited to) monthly awards
ceremonies, catered functions, celebration of top performers and commemorative
events.
- Manage all logistics for assigned events, including venue, catering, suppliers, and
budget, ensuring execution is accurate and within approved parameters.
- Source, brief, and manage external suppliers and vendors for events and incentive
rewards, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring timely delivery.
.
REWARDS PROCUREMENT & STOCK CONTROL
- Ensure incentive rewards, goods, and services are procured and delivered on time,
with accurate stock records maintained across all relevant locations (including the 9th
floor and marketing storeroom).
MONTHLY PLANNING & SCHEDULING
- Compile and manage the monthly incentive and activity schedule, ensuring all
programmes and communications are planned, approved, and distributed within
agreed timelines.
- Proactively manage competing deadlines to ensure consistent, on-time delivery across
all functions.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION
- Lead, coach, and manage the Incentives & Marketing Administrator, including
workload planning, performance management, and ongoing development.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders including
Sales Leadership, HR, Finance, and the Executive team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all incentive-related queries, escalations, and
reporting requirements.
- Facilitate regular engagement sessions with relevant business stakeholders to review
incentive performance, gather feedback, and ensure programmes remain aligned to
business objectives.
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION
- Leverage digital tools and AI-based applications to improve the quality, efficiency, and
reach of incentive communications, reporting, and content creation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to modernise and streamline incentive
administration, payment processes, and internal marketing.
Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

advantageous.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a comparable role within a fast-paced, performance
driven environment.
