The client is a growth-focused agri business operating over 100 locations across South Africa, along with a growing e-commerce presence. The organisation provides farming supplies and a broad range of retail products to support agriculture, rural communities, and lifestyle customers.
The Role: IM Business Analyst
The IM Business Analyst is responsible for analysing and documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation, and translating business requirements into clear specifications for technology teams. This role exists to bridge business needs and technology, driving process efficiency, automation, and user experience across the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Hold a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, structured business, functional, and system requirements.
Act as the link between business and technology teams, translating business processes and requirements into technology concepts.
Assess application capabilities, integrations, and data flows to analyse potential technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
Lead or facilitate analysis, requirements definition, solution design, testing, and documentation for application changes, enhancements, and new solutions.
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and digitise business processes using applications, workflows, data, integration, AI, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and deliver intended business outcomes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
About You
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
