ICT Security Specialist

Requirements/ Experience: National Diploma in (NQF 6) Computer Science / Information Technology or NQF 6 IT related qualification. A relevant industry certification, such as International Security Certificate, ethical hacking, CompTIA Security+, CISSP. 5 years’ experience in the IT Security environment coupled with in-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management. Knowledge & Skills: Troubleshooting Networks Cyber Security Business applications Software installations Management and drafting ICT policies and standard ISO27001 NIST framework COBIT, MISS, and Project Management Skills Management skills Behavioural attributes: Negotiation skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Negotiation techniques/conflict management. Assertiveness. Judgement. Objectivity. Logical reasoning. Organising. Ability to interact with business users and vendors.
