Start free — we apply for you →You will run a dessert cart in front of guests, so this suits someone who is naturally friendly, quick on their feet and unfazed when the queue builds. Hospitality experience is preferred, and you must be free to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Core Criteria
• Grade 12 • 1-2 years' hospitality experience preferred • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with trading hours • Strong people skills and clear communication • Warm, outgoing and approachable nature • Confident with basic maths • Sharp eye for detail • Calm and effective under pressure • Self-motivated, organised and efficient • Adaptable and takes ownership of the work Core Responsibilities:
• Get the cart ready for service at the start of each day • Prepare and serve ice cream desserts to guests • Take guest orders and recommend flavours and combinations • Keep the cart spotless and well presented, with a clean-down at opening and closing • Maintain a hygienic work area at all times • Monitor stock levels and order ice cream, cones, cups and other supplies as needed • Pack ingredients away in the designated kitchens • Process card payments • Hand over daily sales to the duty manager for capture on the POS Fixed-term position This is a live-out position
