- The IBP Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting, configuring and implementing SAP Integrated Business Planning IBP solutions in alignment with business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Owners and Product Owners, conduct gap analysis, translate business requirements into functional specifications, and support the implementation and ongoing operation of the IBP application. The role requires strong knowledge of SAP IBP, including Demand, Supply Response, Inventory, Sales & Operations Planning S&OP and Control Tower, as well as integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA.
Responsibilities
- Configure, implement and support SAP IBP functionality.
- Work with Business Owners and Product Owners to define and deliver requirements.
- Conduct functional gap analysis and identify appropriate solutions.
- Develop functional specifications for development activities.
- Configure and customise IBP modules according to business requirements.
- Support IBP Demand, Supply Response, Inventory and Control Tower functionality.
- Configure and manage:
- Key figures and parameters
- Master data
- Time profiles
- Planning profiles
- ABC/XYZ segmentation
- Demand models
- Sales history
- Statistical forecasting
- Promotions and sales planning
- Planning areas and hierarchical planning
- Support New Product Introduction NPI processes.
- Configure data realignment and forecasting model parameters.
- Work with planning and supply time fences.
- Support order-based planning and constrained planning models.
- Configure scenario planning and what-if analysis.
- Support infinite and finite supply planning optimisation.
- Configure inventory optimisation and alerts.
- Support collaborative planning processes.
- Integrate SAP IBP with existing SAP ECC/S4HANA environments.
- Lead IBP projects and other IT projects within a mid-sized organisation.
- Communicate project issues, concerns and risks to relevant team members and senior management.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work within Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Support users and business teams with software-related issues.
- Provide functional troubleshooting and end-user support
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in:
- Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Data Analytics
- Or a related field.
- 4+ years of overall experience in line with the position requirement.
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP IBP configuration and implementation experience, with demonstrable project outcomes.
- Strong experience across SAP IBP functionality, particularly:
- IBP S&OP
- Demand
- Supply Response
- Inventory
- Control Tower
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC and/or S4HANA.
