Main purpose of the job

• To advise on and implement human resources policies and assist in all aspects of the human resources function such as induction, employee relations, recruitment, benefits and administration Location:

• 31 Princess of Wales Terrace, Parktown Key performance areas:

• Facilitate the recruitment and selection process within the unit in conjunction with the relevant Line Managers, including the design and distribution of adverts, scheduling of interviews and the contracting process • Provide Line Managers with guidance and support on HR activities (policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, grievances/disciplinaries, training, performance management etc.) in conjunction with HR Manager and HR General Manager • Provide advice and facilitation of the performance management process within the unit, inclusive of probation, performance appraisals and poor work performance counselling • Conduct disciplinary investigations and provide advice that will ensure objectivity and fairness in all disciplinary actions taken in conjunction with HR Manager and HR General Manager • Identify and advise employee training needs in collaboration with the Divisional Human Resources Manager • Process and capture new and temporary employees, transfers, promotions, terminations and other payroll-related services to ensure the timely and accurate payment of all employees • Facilitate induction and orientation process of new employees • Generate all required HR administration within deadlines Required minimum education and training:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study Required minimum work experience:

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in
