- The HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR services and partnering with operational leadership to drive employee engagement, capability, compliance and business performance across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive and implement people strategies aligned to business objectives while supporting workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll support, employee benefits, and HR reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, incapacity management, and union engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, bargaining council requirements, company policies, and Employment Equity objectives.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by driving employee engagement, wellness, recognition, learning and development, and leadership capability initiatives.
- Analyse and present HR metrics and insights to support informed business decision-making and continuous organisational improvement.
Qualifications
- Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or related field.
- 3-5 years HR Generalist experience.
- Manufacturing experience advantageous.
- Strong ER, recruitment and labour law experience.
